Welcome to our new webpage!

A new source of astrochemical information, research and news is finally here!

We are happy to finally be able to welcome everyone to the new webpage of our Astrochemistry Research Group, at Heriot-Watt University. We aim to give here information about astrochemistry in a comprehensive way, to show you our facilities and research topics, and to share with you exciting news from the group, our collaborators and general news of astrochemical interest. While this is still a work in progress, and some parts of the webpage lack content, we hope to be filling it with new things in the next few months so, if you want, come and visit from time to time to see our updates.

We hope that this webpage brings us closer all together and to reach people with common interests, whether from the general public, students, or from already established researchers. We know astrochemistry as a very interdisciplinary field that can attract very different people, not only from the astronomy and astrophysics world, but also from different areas of chemistry, geology or biology, so we'd be happy to hear from all of you anytime. These are great and exciting times for astrochemistry and space exploration, so don't hesitate to contact us with doubts, comments or interesting new projects!

As a first taste, we leave you a picture of our recent meeting in Edinburgh concerning the international AstroCatalysis project (see our 'Research' section). This was our second year meeting where we had the chance to update each other on recent advances, share ideas and new coming projects, and have some laughs and good food.
